i left the oven on too long and now there are just strange black shapes
i wrote a small book of poems this evening and submitted it to Zachary German's 'the name of this band is the talking heads'.
the poems are all 3 lines long.
there are 24 of them.
the book is called 'i left the oven on too long and now there are just strange black shapes'.
if it gets rejected -- which it probably will -- i'm going to make copies and post them to people, like i did with 'Paul Simon'.
(i just had an idea of a way of printing it 'in miniature'.)

mine only has 14 poems but they are all maybe 6-10 lines or so.
the book is called 'when people talk to me i want to close my eyes'.
if it gets rejected, which it probably will, i might make copies and send them out for free like with 'we are in exile here'.
we are 'in the same business' i think.
i am pleased.
